Its name comes from
"Coduls", meaning rounded boulders. This beach is long and oriented
towards the south-east, composed of large boulders, which makes it a bit
uncomfortable to reach the shore, though the sea bottom is sandy. This large
beach is rather solitary, close to the Airport and offers an outstanding view to
the cliffs of Cap des Falc. It can be reached by private car or bicycle, and
is surrounded by conifer woods, typical to the island. Even being so close to
town it is still an ideal place for people searching some tranquility in
summer.
