Cala Talamanca

		An open bay with fine sand and extensive submarine vegetation. It is situated close to the urban center of Ibiza, easy to reach by bus or walking from Ibiza Nueva or Jesus. Its south-easterly orientation makes it an ideal beach to practice wind-surfing, as the prevailing winds are off the sea. In old times the doctors of Ibiza recommended to their rheumatic patients to take bathes in Talamanca for the quantity of seaweed growing there.


		Services: Sun beds, sunshades, pedal-boats, etc. Due to its proximity with Ibiza, and the many hotels, restaurants and bars in the area, this beach offers a wide range of services even during the winter season. The kiosk "Sa Punta des Andreus" at one end of the beach, and the restaurant "La Barraca" surrounded by palm-trees and with a dreamlike horizon, both deserve special mention. Thanks to all its facilities it is an ideal beach for families looking for a peaceful, relaxed and comfortable location.
