Cala Mastella

wpe8.jpg (5429 bytes)        Beach of natural ochre-colored sand. The sea bottom is made up of rocks, covered with submarine vegetation, therefore it is recommendable to wear plastic shoes. This bay is enclosed between two pine woods with a narrow pathway found on the left side of the beach, leading to the small fishing port of Cala Mastella. This little port ha a lot of charm with its natural harmony, boat-houses, and the appealing little beach bar "El Bigotes". To be reached by private car on a paved road. During the summer season it is possible to make an excursion in a tiny, slightly kitschy, train.

Services: This is a beach with hardly any services. In the little beach bar "El Bigotes" one has to reserve a table a week in advance to be able to taste their delicious "Arroz Marinera" (Mariner's Rice) and local fish. Try the cafe "Caleta" and enjoy the natural charm of the surroundings. At the entrance of the cove there is another restaurant, "Sa Seni".
